Driven by a bold vision — a world without poverty — GCF operates at the powerful intersection of community-driven development and data-informed impact. Over 24 months, GCF started its work hand-in-hand with farming communities, many of whom survive on less than $0.75 a day, to help them build sustainable livelihoods, reclaim their futures and empower local women. The model is multi-dimensional and deeply human. It begins with agriculture — the lifeblood of these communities. Through training, access to inputs, and market linkages, farmers begin to see their yields grow. But GCF doesn’t stop there. They fuel new income-generating opportunities, from small businesses to vocational skills, creating pathways for women, youth, and vulnerable households to thrive. One such story is that of Atekit, a young mother in a rural village who once struggled to feed her children. Through GCF’s program, she learned improved farming techniques, joined a savings group, and started a small poultry business. Within two years, her daily income more than doubled. Her children now attend school, and she has become a leader in her community — a beacon of hope for others. GCF’s impact is not just measured in dollars, but in dignity.
