With over two decades of boots-on-the-ground experience, Moses Ojota is a distinguished specialist in global development and humanitarian crisis management. His career is defined by a steadfast commitment to serving vulnerable populations in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
Most recently, from 2018 to 2024, Moses served as the Emergency Coordinator and Head of Programme for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Ethiopia. In this critical role, he led large-scale operations to provide life-saving assistance and long-term stability in the Jijiga region. His extensive leadership history with the United Nations includes:
WFP Rwanda: Head of Field Office and Emergency Coordinator, driving strategic response efforts.
